Thanks to Smooch and Tillie’s – Red Mango was represented at this year’s Fort Green Fest in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene Park. “A celebration of the cultures, cuisine, and artistic diversity of Brooklyn,” this year’s festival featured musical performances by Talib Kweli, Claudette Ortiz, Marco Polo and more, as well as screenings of “Yo Soy Boricua” by Rosie Perez and “Just For Kicks” by Thierry Daher. Local restaurants provided food, and we’re proud to say that before the afternoon was over, 182 slices of Red Mango cake (Red Velvet, Carrot, and Double Chocolate) had been consumed! Unfortunately, only the early birds got these sweet treats because it all sold out in a matter of hours!
